Step 2: Wrap & Tie

tie back in knot

Fold the scarf in half the long way and wrap it around your body with the folded side and the bottom. Tie it in a knot in the back.

Step 3: Mark & Cut Strap Holes

Use a pencil to mark spots on the front and back where the straps will be attached. Then cut very tiny slits at those spots.

Step 4: Attach Straps

Attach the elastic starting from the one of the back holes, looping diagonally through the front hole on the opposite side, across and through the other front hole, then diagonally down to the other back hole. Tie knots at each end to secure the elastic straps.

Note: You may need to measure the elastic beforehand to make sure the length is correct for your body.

Step 5: Cut Fringe & Add Binding Tape

Use fabric scissors to cut the fringe ends from the scarf. Then fabric glue the binding tape  along the edges for a smooth finish.

Step 6: Add Fringe

add fringe to bottom

Glue one of the fringe strips across the bottom of the halter top on the inside layer. Leave to dry for a few hours.

All done!
