ABOUT ME
Miaira is an award-winning video producer, content creator, and advocate for sustainable fashion, blending nostalgia with modern creativity. With a passion for DIY fashion and a commitment to sustainable style, she has built a vibrant online community, inspiring thousands through thrifting, upcycling, and handmade designs that often channel the timelessness of 80s and 90s. Miaira’s content isn’t just about fashion; it’s about fostering creativity, confidence, and consciousness in how we approach style.
Miaira was previously Senior Editor of well-known DIY brand, eHow, where she and her team won multiple Webby Awards for best How-to/DIY social video. Shortly after committing to full-time creator life, she was selected as one of the first creators to attend YouTube and Global Citizen’s Creators for Climate Action Summit, recognized for her efforts to inspire a more sustainable future through content creation. She also made waves during New York Fashion Week, where her upcycled “curtains couture” design was on display in Soho and seen on billboards across New York city as part of YouTube Shorts' Webby award-winning Remake The Runway campaign.
Her work has been showcased in collaborations with major brands like Refinery29 and Buzzfeed, where she continues to champion DIY fashion and sustainability. Through her creative projects, Miaira aims to advocate for alternative fashion solutions, blending innovation with nostalgia to inspire fashion consciousness, creativity, and confidence.
